FragsTool keeps public browsing simple and private owner data separate.

This page describes the current handling of browser storage, public community features, and secure owner-only functionality.

Browser storage

FragsTool stores your selected view, shortlist, and certain local fallback actions in browser local storage on your device.

Community submissions

Community notes and fragrance suggestions sent through the live site are processed through the shared backend and may be stored for moderation and review.

Owner area

Owner authentication is handled server-side. Private analytics and owner workflows are not exposed in the public bundle.

Operational Notes

Owner login uses a secure server-side session cookie.
Private analytics are intended to remain off the public site and off public repo storage.
Rate limiting is used on public community endpoints and owner login endpoints to reduce abuse.
